The romantic, French-style home belonging to Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence was recently sold this month for an impressive US$11 million (approx AUD$16.645 million). The Beverly Hills estate, nestled behind lush climbing greenery and an elegant stone courtyard combines relaxed living and celeb wow-factor. It has been owned by the star for more than 11 years; she purchased it in 2014, choosing to register it in her father’s name to be a home base for her parents.
Designed in the 1990s by interior designer Kerry Joyce, the Hamptons-meets-Hollywood home has become something of a magnet for celebrity owners over the years. The Oscar-winning actress originally purchased the home from Jessica Simpson, with none other than stars Ellen DeGeneres and even Paul Hogan also calling it home over its lifetime.
The sale coincides with the recent addition of Jennifer Lawrence and husband Cooke Maroney’s second child, who they welcomed earlier this year, with the family of four now largely based in New York.
